Corobici River Float

The Corobicí River Float will give you the opportunity to admire nature as you float down the river on a rubber raft. Sights of flora and fauna are common to this area; ospreys, mot mots, herons, egrets and a variety of iguanas and monkeys. You’ll enjoy a great natural snack while you float down the river, this is a great tour to see wildlife.

After the Corobici River Float, we will visit Las Pumas Rescue Center.

Located just outside the small city of Cañas along the Inter-Americana Highway. Las Pumas Rescue Center was started in the 1960s by the Lilly Hagnauer, a Swiss environmentalist. It’s the largest shelter of its kind in Latin America, housing big cats including pumas, jaguars, ocelots, jaguarundis and margays, plus a few deer, foxes, monkeys, peccaries, toucans, parakeets and other birds that were either orphaned or injured.
